In this illustration, it can be seen that there are many bodies left to be taken by nature. They were not carried away, they were left to rot. Most, if not all of these bodies, belonged to Native Americans. In this picture, the viewer must also note the tribal home in the background, a tepee. These homes were used as the natives never settled in one place, they continually moved. These homes represent how the United States continued to move the Natives across and around America until finally killing them.
